<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Articles><Article><id>111</id><JournalTitle>NOCHI KUDINEER AN AGE OLD MEDICINE FOR FEBRILE  RESPONSE</JournalTitle><Abstract>Fever is also known as pyrexia and febrile response. It is defined as having a temperature above the normal 
range due  to an increase in the body temperature set point. A fever can be an only symptom in variety of medical 
conditions  ranging  from  simple  to  potentially  serious.  It  can  be  due  to  viral,  bacterial  and  parasitic  infections, 
systemic conditions, side effects of  medication and even cancer. Fever is one of the most common medical signs. 
About 30% in children and 75% in adults who visit healthcare centers for fever. In the event of antibiotic resistance 
to  infections,  epidemic  and  endemic  outbreak  threat  of  infecti ons  particularly  of  viral  like  ebola,  dengue, 
chikungunya and unknown cause, an alternative, safer, newer moiety of antipyretics effective, in need. Microbes 
such  as  bacteria,  viral,  fungi  and  parasites  adapt  to  their  environment  and  change  their  ways  tha t  ensure  their 
survival. The microbes thrive by means of mutation and carrying resistance genes and remain dominant throughout 
their span. In Siddha system of medicine, plethoras of herbs and their formulations are used to treat fever and its 
related illnesses. Here, review of commonly used antipyretic formulation Nochi kudineer are put forth for assured
